Casavea’s name
was derived from a combination of her sire’s name (Casanova)
and her dam’s name (Mrs. Montivea). We believe she is appropriately
named, as she has inherited the breathtaking qualities of both
her sire and dam! Mrs. Montivea has been described by Doug Kneis
of Gypsy MVP as “one of 3 of the best conformed mares I
have seen”, while Casanova has been described as having
“conformation as close to perfect as we can find. He is
truly a fairytale horse”.
Of the 4 foals born
on our farm so far, Casavea has grown the fastest. In fact, people
have been asking us what we feed this girl!
Her conformation continues
to astound us. She seems to get prettier all of the time with
her arched neck, beautiful and symmetrical markings, abundant
feathering, and especially sweet and refined head. We expect great
things from this exceptional filly.
Casavea has
been sold to Deb & Jeff Gakstatter, of Elite Gypsy Horses
in Bend Oregon. We could not be more delighted to find such a
lovely and caring new family for our special girl!
